The Baseball Zone is a full service year-round baseball training facility located in Rockville, Maryland. Originally Derek Hacopian Baseball Academy, The Baseball Zone has been open since 1996. The Baseball Zone's primary goal has always been to provide the best in professional hitting, pitching, and catching instruction. We have compiled a year-round staff of some of the finest skill coaches in the area. We offer private, semi-private, small group and team instruction to players of all ages and abilities. The Baseball Zone also offers seasonal clinics, summer baseball camps, and Academy teams.

In addition to our instructional programs, we provide individuals and teams with a facility where they can practice their hitting and pitching skills. The Baseball Zone has coin operated batting cages that are open to the public and a training facility that can be rented by teams. We also offer a cost effective hitting membership program that is perfect for individuals who use our batting cages often.

We are the leaders in the Metropolitan area in providing year round professional baseball instruction to students of all ages. Our goal moving forward, will be to continue to offer the best in baseball instruction for players of all levels, while also providing a first class training facility for individuals and teams.
